And now they’re just one step away from having the 2008 World Series Champions title. The global score is 3-1 against the Tampa Bay Rays and the world series game 5 was about to define if we had a MLB Champion already or not. The excitement in Philly was impossible to describe.
And then everything happens just like in a movie: Both teams tied by the sixth inning and then the game has to be suspended, due to heavy rain. This is MLB history! A World Series game 5 suspended with a big cliffhanger and lots of expectation.
The game is supposed to resume tonight. Those who missed the outstanding 5 ½ innings of this game can watch them on FOX right before the rest of the World Series… final? We’ll see.
