The Dallas Cowboys keep themselves as a hot subject to talk about. Now it’s all about their weird decision to acquire Adam “Pacman” Jones. What were they thinking?!
This is a huge risk for the Cowboys, whose 2007 NFL Season predicted a brilliant Super Bowl finale, and it all ended up on a bumpy exit. Many question the reasons that lead the team representatives to pick the Tennessee Titans’ suspended cornerback. They are also negotiating a four-year contract for him.

But what are the Titans getting out of this? It seems it depends on how Pacman Jones behaves this NFL season. What is clear is what they have to lose. If Jones is not reinstated, they will have to return a fourth-round pick in the 2009 draft to the Cowboys. And if he is reinstated but gets suspended again, the Titans will lose a fifth-round pick.
This is not the first time the Cowboys make the weird decision of picking suspended players. Last year it was Tank Johnson. It seems they’ll keep looking for all the bad guys in every NFL draft. Will that be a good investment by Dallas? Only time can say.
